Hydrog SH-5000 Premium sprayers for Eurovia

This secret can no longer be kept secret!

These bituminous emulsion machines are a real firecracker in the company's Eurovia in Poland hands.

We made four white SH Premium emulsion sprayers on a Volvo chassis at the end of 2023.

Their task will be mainly inter-layer sprinkling - during which the emulsion evenly dosed by the sprinkler is used when laying asphalt layers. The purpose of these activities is to connect the aggregate base layer with the first asphalt layer.

Application of asphalt emulsion

Due to the variety of asphalt emulsion available for work, it can be used in a wide range of other technologies:

• surface fixations - the emulsion is used to seal and roughen the road surface,
• partial renovations - the emulsion is used to repair minor defects in the surface in order to seal it,
• thin cold mats - for sealing and roughening the road surface,
• deep recycling - cement and asphalt emulsion are used in road renovation and reconstruction,
• mineral-emulsion mixtures - grave emulsion (GE) mixtures and emulsion concrete are used here for the construction and renovation of roads with light and medium traffic load categories.

The diversity of canyon asphalt emulsion results from the ingredients used, various types of asphalts, emulsifiers and acids are used. In Polish road construction, unmodified or modified cationic asphalt emulsions are used. The reference document for the use of cationic asphalt emulsions is the PN-EN 13808 standard (current edition), which includes the National Annex NA, which presents the types of asphalt emulsions approved for trading and use in Poland.
